Greetings and Welcome all to this humble author's page! My name is Eris and this is the little piece of my world that I am willing to share with the world.
I live in a gruesome hole called Texas. I was born in England, so everything here is backwards to me. Although the people are friendly (in comparison) I miss Upper Havard...
I am usually a person that perfers solitude. I like to wander in my own thoughts and then write about it the best I can in my free time. But, every now and then, I obtain a wild hair and decide to venture out of my bubble and experience the social life.
With that said, I have met one friend worth mentioning on here, and she is a very pleasant person to talk to. Her name is SeleneStone. Her stories are enchanting; everyone must read them, they are simply delightful.
I am also in college working my way up to an English major. With that said, I am picky with the correct usage of grammer, spelling, syntax, diction, imagery, prasing, etc.. The list just simply goes on. ( I know, I screw up on these things myself. I do realize that the previous sentence makes me a hypocrite. I assure you, I am well aware of that) But, I am even more anal about the way uneducated people try to edit some stories that I have seen on here. Frustrating. I understand that they are trying to help, but if you cannot use the correct literary term, then it is best that you just dont say anything at all. I have one phrase for all you other hypocrites out there: "Know what your talking about."
I suppose the above paragraph is just blowing off a little steam... I just encountered a snooty little pest that seems to be jealous of my writing skills. Its either that, or they don't like to feel inferior... Either way, it makes sense.
I feel better now
Well, have fun writing everyone and keep that imagination flowing!
