I am just recently back into writing after 30 years. When I was 7 I wrote a book about a girl motorcycle gang. I can remember writing it in my backyard, having the time of my life. I showed it to my mom, who was busy with the house and the finances and her cheating husband. I understand now why she said, "That's nice, honey", and didn't even read it, but it killed the little writer in me. I'm trying to resurrect her.
