wat up. my name's wes, or wesley, watever. i love writing, its a great passion of mine. i'm a normal kid who goes to high school and who is currently a freshman. i joined this group to primarily express my writing to others and show it to the world. although i will not put up my current novel, because it is too big (358pgs,about 116,000 words? so far) and becasue i dont want others to steal my idea. even though it is very unlikely, i still wont take the chance. i would just like to improve my writing and give short stories and sample of my writing to all who wish to take a look. i dont know what much else to say, but i am a very occupied person most of the time and i dont get much time to write. i will try to put up my writings as often as possible. im very eager to show the world what my writing is like, so, i hope you enjoy it!

My Username is -Syren- and everyone on the site simply calls me Brooke. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.
You may notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After three days the membership expires and you become a regular member.
I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens on the site.
