i would just like to start off w/ my likes and dislikes:

Likes:
fantasy, anime, stand-up comedy, sitcom, action/adventure movies (fantasy movies as well >3<), food, sleeping in 'till 12...blah blah blah...>,>

Dislikes:
bugs. people. >,O lol no, really. being around ppl for too long is annoying....
having NO food. did i mention bugs? >,>? oh and stupid people. >:3

About my writing:
I like to work on one story at a time. i usually dont work on things all the way through [but i'm curently writing a story in which i think i can finish and be proud of as well. Hopefully this will get done and i'll love it for years to come. ]

    Hi valivali;

    My Username is -Syren- and everyone on the site simply calls me Brooke. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.

    You may notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After one week the membership expires.

    I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens on the site.     Along with a new members group we have a New Members Contest that is held every month. Come and check it out. The contest is open to any subject. http://storywrite.com/contest/2139

    It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. It is a place to make new friends and get helpful critiques. I have include below a few quick tips that have proven to be very helpful to new members in doing some of the basic functions necessary to get yourself set-up and running on the site.
