I am 53 years old and I live in Florida, moved from New York state in 1996. I have been writing or trying to write since I was 16. Mostly short stories, especially vignettes in the style of Richard Brautigan - though I don't want to copy anyone. I have two novels started, both of which are close to my heart but I've reached an empasse with them lately. One is a sci-fi apocalyptic type, the other a semi-biographical. I would like a wider audience for my work and some opinions of it from people who don't know me, and vice versa. Hopefully, here, I can overcome my block.
