I am Shreyasi, but everyone just calls me Shreya! I am from India and I love reading, writing, sketching, almost anything related to art field. I am told I sing well, too, but they are all dear friends and family, so I wouldn't really take their judgement. You see they can be very biased, especially when it comes to me. I am the most pampered one and I love it
Anyway, I am also into several social causes, though I am not always actively involved. Child-welfare and education, GLBT rights are among top of my list.
Cancer is something I am slowly getting interested in. You see, I lost my aunt and one of my dear family friends as well as several other acquaintances to breast-cancer and such.
I wish that the Governments of the world, especially in the developing countries, aggressively educate people about this deadly disease and also upgrade the research in the field.
