Are women who are leaner than the average woman attractive? Women who have more defined arms, legs, and stomach? I thought that this was interesting, so I decided to post it.
I personally, do not find it any more attractive. I suppose having a woman who is physically more capable than you could be intimidating for some guys, but I don't know how much I'd mind. I'd be a lot more interested in her personality. If she has an overly masculine personality, that could be a little disconcerting, but tomboyish characters are kinda cute
Reasonable explanation. I think personality counts more for anyone I meet. Myself, being of the female gender, think females who are lean, but still have feminine characteristics are more attractive. But I also admire women who do intimidate guys. I think tomboyish girls make the best of friends.
will i personally being a masculine female find that it is not more attractive. lol. cant get a guy to save my life O.o oh well. i love physically fit woman. there beautiful.
Ok, but are we talking fit women, or masculine looking women? I'm curvy, but I am fit. There is a difference. Masculine women are usually small chested, narrow hips.... You know, they kinda look like guys. Where as fit women, can have amazing curves, big breasts. They look like women.
I am by no means saying that one is better, or more attractive than the other, I was just wondering what exactly we were talking about.
I was not trying to make anyone feel bad. This was a mere question. I was merely curious to see other peoples' opinions on the subject. There is nothing wrong with that.
Agreed. Especially when everyone then feels compelled to follow the hive mind and declare "real women" have curves.
Real women have a vagina. Or don't. Real women identify as a woman. Real women are every fucking woman you meet that aren't made of pixels or your imagination.
I wish there was a sassy black-woman emoticon
"On snap!"
"Yes she did!"
Excellent answer. People who say "real women have curves" are fooling themselves. Some people just different preferences.
Maybe it's just cos I never got a second look from a skinny girl
It's all good. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion and whether someone is offended or not is not the point. I know none you intended to offend anyone by your comments.
I agree there was no intent to insulting masculine women. I personally admire more muscular women. I play soccer, but I envy gymnasts for they're legs. I hope you did not take offense to the topic. My apologies if you did.
Hahah I am not that muscular I am just a dyke haha but i am skinny. I dont know why. I just am. I mean i eat but i always lose weight. I'm 5'7 and only weigh like 110.
Oh golly yes. There's this hardbody subreddit I subscribe to that occasionally has a more body builder type, but is mainly just...perfection to the core. Lean, hard muscles and softness too. It drives me crazy, their perfect abs and their legs! Mainly their legs. Nothing more exceptional than a woman that can balance a firm sharpness with the exact softness. Like a good inked line.
Ah yes...why not women...
Probably because the concept of being fit and muscular is deemed a very masculine trait, whereas being slender and curvy is seen as much more feminine
I understand that, but how to you become a masculine female? You work out excessivley. Very few women are born looking like a man. The topic was of females with more defined physical features. Which most work out, or do some kind of fitness.
That sounds fascinating! I tried Google reverse image search but that only lead me to other sites hosting the same picture. All I know is, she is a drag king and an androgynous model.
You all have forgotten a major thing, not all masculine women are fit.......i am a tomboy (damn proud of it to) and im not that fit, i work on a farm all the time and im pretty strong but im not all toned and that. (and sadly i have broader shoulders then most guys)
I was talking about women who have narrower hips, more muscular arms, stomchs and legs. Do not be sad about having broad shoulders, there is nothing wrong with it. I personally admire strong/fit/masculine women. No body-builders though, they just plain out creep me out.
MItch, I do not like people who pick fights with me. Women who look like men are indeed masculine. I do not consider muscular women masculine, but women who have narrow chests, hips and are so muscular that they DO look like men, then I do consider them masculine. I have nothing against women who are more masculine, this thread was merely a question.
Can we always be what we identify ourselves as? If I identify myself as black, and act according to stereotypical behavior concerning that, does that make me so?
What is "black" anyways? Based on my race? But what of those who have lighter skin, are mixed or albino, or grew up in Africa? They can identify as "black" correct? Or what of those who identify as white, but have skin dark enough to be "black"?
I'll posit Barack Obama as an example. He is known as our first black president. But his mother was white (even has a Jewish relative who survived the Holocaust) and his father hailed from Kenya. What does that make him, then? If he stated his racial identity as just "white", people would scoff. But yet, he can state himself as "just black" and no one thinks twice, though technically, he would be "mixed" if you believe in such technicals.
What is race, but an arbitrary label at times, bred through generations and generations of stereotypes?
It's a good question. Can I identify as Native American? Or as French? Or as Czech? Or as German? I have all these things in my blood. What is my race?
My point was more in relation to whether someone is truly something simply because they choose to identify in such a way.
I apologise, the example of race was not a good one.
Hm i decided to look on the Olympics female wrestling as i heard they produce physically masculine females. There arms look like mines and their legs are bigger then mines and i couldn't help but notice their lack of chest. Is this masculine? I think it might be called masculine. I do not think their ugly, however i don't like the thought of being outdone by someone who doesn't even produce the same amount of natural muscle builders that i do. Personality whys masculine women can be fun and interesting but a little bossy. lol
hehehe this topic interrests me cuz most of my friends and family say that i have a very masculine attitude but i have curves and an ass and a chest...i'm also very tall (i'm 6 ft tall U.S scale ) and some guys do find that a bit off just because i can beat them at arm wresteling or in a running competition or even basketball...but some guys are okay with it...does that make me a masculine female? i don't think so...
Actualy you sound perfect to me. lol no flirting intended. 6ft girls have long legs AND you have an ass and chest? Plus you play basketball. Damn girl! lol. What do you think is a masculine female out of curiosity.
hehehe thank you but i stil have my flaws trust me not all men like a dark writer or even a poetess to say the least... a masculine female to me is wel... i tend not to judge people so i wouldnt know a masculie female even if she hit me in the face
but female body builders (even though i admire their hard work and efforts) they seem manly to me...plus females who are a bit ...how do i even put this in a sentence...females that are all about muscles and sports and things like that...a slight interrest in fashion or society wouldn't hurt right ?...
I agree. Females with muscles in their arms that rival a football player and so on seem masculine to me. Supposedly a woman can't get like that unless she focus entirely on weight lifting. So i'm not a big fan of those. A little bit under that is nothing but a beautiful athletic female. Personality whys masculine girls are funner to kick it with then the girly girls.
hhehe i know that from firt hand experiance i have alot of guy friends just because buggs dont care me and i love video games and i play sports i can hold down my drinks but most of the people outside my friend zone tend to call me a boy....
