18- The setting is 1973. My character calls his wife Karen "Kare Bear". Do you think the average reader would insist this is anachronistic being as the Care Bears were incepted in 1981? Would they get that its just a pet name that rhymes and is not unthinkable that someone would call somebody that before the word was trademarked?
