If I were stranded on an island with only five songs, I'd throw the radio into the ocean... But that's just me! I just wanted to give you a big high-five for listing Janet Evanovich as a favorite author..She's one of the funniest writers that I've ever read, although I've only read a couple of her books. I'm currently looking VERY forward to reading the rest of them.

Most cool of you... *tips hat*

My favorite stranded-on-an-island song would be some tropical Barney song. *misses Barney and wish he didn't burn up in a studio fire* *or stash drugs in his tail* *or whatever it is he did* lol

I love the way she has allowed her writing to roam into different areas, giving delightful tales.

    My favorite songs... hummm:

It Was A Very Good Year…… by Frank Sinatra
(It means even more as I grow older. Hey, it's Blue Eyes singing.)

Smokin’ Gun ……… by Robert Cray
(Fantastic work...and my cell phone ring.)

Begin the Beguine…… by Sheryl Crow
(Totally different take on a fantastic song.)

Truly Madly Deeply… by Savage Garden
(Have been in love to understand.)

The Nearness of You by Norah Jones
(One terrific song coupled with an equal talent.)

    Okay, my five songs:
The Penis Song - From Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life". (Just so I could laugh when I needed to.)

Under My Skin - Frank Sinatra. (In case I wanted to sing on the beach of my island.)

Genesis - Justice. (A little good electronica never hurt anybody.)

Wolf Like Me - TV On the Radio. (In case I needed to get angry enough to chop down a palm tree.)

Holland, 1945 - Neutral Milk Hotel. Because it's classic.

    Mack the Knife? Really?
"Oh, that shark has ... pretty teeth, dear..."

Hey, just thought I'd visit a random profile!

    If I were stranded on an island, five songs I would choose;

    Wait For You (Elliot Yamin)
    Never Alone (BarlowGirl)
What Hurts The Most (Rascal Flatts)
    Heep Holding On (Avril Lavigne)
    Innocence (Avril Lavigne)

Actually, I'd love to have my MP3 player. All the songs there are my favorite ^_^
  • CactusJack : You put the lime in the coconut... on August 1, 2007
    Songs hmm..
Can't take my eyes off of you (Sinatra)

    Feeling Good (Michael Buble)

I thought I'd look at your prof. And I like how you stated your 'age'. 'Old enough to know better and young enough to not care.' I like that, gives me somthing new to say to mother, when she says Im too young for somthing.
