A fellow Goon fan - yaaay! I agree about being happy, I tried being miserable once and did not enjoy it! It is a pleasure to get to know you, I feel you and I may well share a lot in common. I will look forward to reading more of your stuff.
One of my favourite Goon bits is a threat issued by by the Sheriff of Nottingham to Neddy, he says he will be "splugged on a gillikin spike".

It's one of the places I want to visit - included in my life list, hahaha You just ranked waaaaaaaay cooler in my book

When you told me yesterday (I think?) about your time in the armed forces and you mentioned Borneo to me, it struck me that it was the same place that my story is mainly set in. A quirky similarity I feel.

I am exhausted Lawrie! My war story epic thingy is sapping my strength as we speak. It's good fun but I constantly wonder what people would make of it! I've had a very nice remark about it though. So it's working!

Just came by to say hello and stuff. Loved your history tidbit on the pyramids

Hi, i've got to say your stories are amazing, i don't think i've ever been so inspired to write. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? i guess you've either got to be in your prime, to put it nicely, or have wayyy to much time on your hands because it must of taken years to work up that skill (i mean that in the nicest way possible). i used to want to be a writer, but i gave up on that a few years back. My stories were lacking texture. I moved onto poetry because i found it easier to concentrate the feelings and exaust every emotion possible, although i'm not the new Shakespeare or anywhere near. Oh well, i still have plenty of years to improve (: I've been thinking about getting back into stories too, but i just have no idea where to start. Any tips would be returned in the sincearest grattitude but i appreciate if you do not for what ever reason you may have. Sorry for spelling errors, as you could probably tell spelling and grammar are not my strong point. Congratulations again on such powerful writing and i'll look forward to a reply if you chose to give one (:
