Chapter 21 Lover's Prelude

After their  very successful mall trip Dianna,Kelly and Abby went out to dinner  to celebrate their wonderful shopping successful and the fact that Dianna was going to the prom with  Jimmy.   After they  had their dinner they went back to Dianna's house to  have dessert and hang out.  Dianna couldn't  help but marvel at how pretty her  dress was.    Red with  purple sequins and lace fringe around the edges.  She felt like a princess in it.  She hoped thar Jimmy would think she looked beautiful in it.    After   Abby and Kelly left to go home for the night   Dianna went online to check her e-mai.  When she found out  she had nothing in her e-mail box but spam  she was tempted to just get off and study for  her calculus test but then an instant message with an unfamiliar username came up1

JimBasketboy24: Hey Dianna it's Jimmy  what's up?2

Dianna was in shock. How had  Jimmy gotten  her screen name? Probably from  Kelly or  Abby which she was cool with.   She typed in response:3

Princess Di010:  Hey   not much how'd you get my sn?4

JimBasketboy24:  randomly found in the aol member directory5

PrincessDi010: oh cool  so how are you?6

JimBasketboy24: pretty good. Excited about the prom?7

PrincesDi010:   Most definitley!  I got my  dress today  it looks so awesome.8

JimBasketboy24:  sweet   what color is it?9

PrincessDi010: red.10

Jimbasketboy24:  sweet  what type of flower do u want for your corsage?11

PrincessDi010: a red rose or daisy which ever you think is more proper. 12

PricessDi010: What flower do you want for your bouttainiere?13

Jimbasketboy24:  a carnation.14

PrincessDi010:  My mom is kinda leary about us going to the prom together because she doesn't know you too  well. Would you mind coming over here sometime next week to meet her to ease some of her  worries?15

Jimbasketboy24:  sure. What's she worried about though? I"m a good guy.16

PrincessDi010:  yeah  i know but  i guess she wants to make sure you won't try anything funny with me or anything like that.17

Jimbaskrtboy24:  I'm not a kinky type of guy don't worry about it. 18

PrincessDi010: ok good19

PrincessDi010: so have you started looking in to colleges yet?20

Jimbasketboy24: Yeah  i'm looking mostly into music schools  but we'll see where things end up.21

PrincessDi010: well i gotta go eat dinner now see you on monday22

Dianna couldn't believe she had just talked to Jimmy online.  She was looking foward   to  going to the prom with him.  She was worried  that her mom's  talking to Jimmy would  ruin   them going to the prom or possible  the idea of them ever being a couple. 24
