Darth Vader!  She could hear Darth Vader in the hall.  She thought briefly of dashing to the closet and retrieving the light saber her mom had bought for her when she was just a kid in hopes that it would, just this once, actually work.  Then she remembered she had taken the batteries out to use in her Sing With The Stars toy a while ago.2

He was outside her her door; calling her name.  "Julia.  Julia.  Open the door." in that hollow way of talking he had.  She wondered if he had come to tell her that she too was his child.  She dropped to the floor on the far side of the bed and slithered under there amid the dust bunnies and apple cores, searching.  Finally she found it, the silly string.  Maybe she could use it to plug his vents.  "His breathing stuff must have cloggable vents." she thought.  "Please God." she prayed.  "That's all I want; pluggable vents."3

The door opened.  She could hear him fumbling about the room.  His breathing sounded even worse than on the movie.  Whispering a plea to the good side of the force she jumped up and let him have it.4

"Damn." she whispered.  It wasn't Darth Vader at all.  It was that pumpkin head guy, she couldn't remember the name of the movie he was in.  5

"Sis.  Is that you?  You gotta help me.  My head is stuck in my Hallowe'en goody pumpkin."6

As she squirted dish soap on his head to slip the pumpkin shaped bucket off she finally decided on which costume it was she wanted.  He was terrified of Barney.  Revenge would be so sweet.7

She was humming one of the purple terror's songs as she rinsed his hair.8
