Untitled For Now Chapter 5

It only took Jessica five minutes to get the goodies. She came back out and handed Lucas the can of Coke and place the bowl of chips on the table. Lucas opened the can, took a drink and then placed the can back on the table. Jessica took Lucas's hand in hers and he looked into her eyes and sighed. Then he began to tell the story.

"I went out of town for a couple of weeks, I help dad out with the business," Lucas said. "I was too busy to call Lila for a few days. But when I did finally call, she was out with her friends. Or at least that's what her mom told me. I guess she didn't really know for sure either." He squeezed Jessica's hand and paused for a good five minutes. The telephone rang and Jessica released Lucas's hand and excused herself to answer it.

Lucas heard a car pull up and he got up to see who it was. It was Lila and some guy. Lila was dressed in her red off the shoulder minidress, with red high heels and her brown hair was curled and pulled back into a clip. Her make up was perfect and as she walked up to him, he got a whiff of her moonlight path perfume. Lucas grinned to himself, he remembered the first time Lila wore that outfit for him. It was on their one year anniversary. They went out to dinner and a movie. Then they later on went to the cabin by the lake and made love.

"Where's Jessica," the guy asked. Lucas glared at the guy and asked, "Who in the hell are you?"

"I'm Dylan, Jessica's ex boyfriend," the guy said. "I want my girl back and I'm not going to take no for an answer." Lucas smirked and asked, "What makes you think she'll take you back?"

"She still loves me," Dylan said. "I wouldn't be so sure on that," Lucas said. "She admitted it to me last night, and I'm sure she'll admit it to me again today," Dylan said.

Lucas stood up and stepped towards Dylan. Lila pushed Dylan back and stepped in front of Lucas and wrapped her arms around him. He looked down at her and saw the sparkle in her eyes for him was still there. He allowed himself to smile at her. She smiled back and kissed his neck and then nibbled on his earlobe. Lucas shivered and gave her the look to stop for now. Lila giggled and then Jessica came outside.

"Lucas, how could you let that whore even touch you," Jessica demanded. "How dare you call me a whore," Lila growled. "You're the one that cheated on him," Jessica fired back.

"I made a mistake, we all do. Don't be acting so high and mighty, for I know that you admitted to Dylan last night that you are still in love with him and that you were only chasing after Lucas to make him jealous," Lila yelled.

Lucas looked at Jessica in shock. "You didn't really want to go out with me? And I was about to tell you about Lila? At least she was honest with me!"

"You don't have any proof," Jessica yelled back at them. Just then Dylan stepped forward and said, "Oh yes, I do."

Jessica began to tremble. Oh shit, I've screwed up now, she thought. Dylan smiled and said, "You can either admit the whole thing or I can play the conversation and Lila kick your ass."

"I'm innocent," Jessica insisted. "Bullshit," Dylan said as he pulled out the tape player. He fast forwarded to the part he needed to and then hit play.

"I still love you so much, Dylan. I want us to be together again and soon," Jessica's voice said. "Then why are you going out with Lucas tomorrow night," Dylan asked. "I was trying to make you jealous and I know that Lila would flip her lid," Jessica said.

"I thought Lila was your friend," Dylan's voice asked. "She was til she stabbed me in the back a couple of weeks ago. I know about you two going out on the date, you went out with a slut," Jessica said. "She's not a slut, she's only slept with Lucas," Dylan said. "But she did make out with another guy and everyone speculated that more happened while Lucas was out of town, the truth is nothing else happened," Dylan said.

He then stopped the tape. Lila lunged forward and grabbed Jessica by the head of the hair and started to hit her in the face and tackled her to the ground. Jessica slapped Lila in the face and punched her in the stomach. Lila pulled Jessica's hair and started to choke her. For a little lady, Lila was a lot stronger than what she looked.

Lucas tried to pull Lila off of Jessica, but she protested. "Lillian, I demand you stop it right now so we can work things out," Lucas yelled.

Lila punched Jessica in the eye, spat on her and got up of her. Dylan helped Jessica off the ground and said, "You say that you love me, but I know you don't. You wouldn't have dumped me if you did. You didn't have a reason to bitch."

Lucas and Lila walked away from the two arguing and went to the car. "Its been a long day, I'll take you home and we'll talk when things settle down and I do some thinking," Lucas said.

Lila smiled and said, "I'd like that."
