Untitled for Now Chapter 4

Meanwhile, Lucas drove over to Jessica's. He was about five minutes early and she was already waiting for him. She was still dressed in sweats and an old tshirt. Lucas was just a little confused.

"I thought we were going to go to the movies," he commented.

Jessica avoided the comment and said, "I already heard about what you did before you came over here."

"How'd you find out," Lucas asked as he sat down in the chair in front of her. "Lila called me," Jessica said quietly, looking angrily at Lucas.

Lucas put his head in his hands and sighed. Then he looked up at Jessica and asked, "What all did she tell you? And are you gonna let me tell my side of it?"

"Lila called after you left and said you two had sex and she thought you still loved her," Jessica said. "Now do I get to tell my side of the story," Lucas asked. "Sure," Jessica said.

"I was gonna just come here and hang out with you for a couple of hours before we went out, but Lila called me and wanted me to come over for a little while," Lucas said. "Since we're still friends, I agreed. We got to watching tv and she said that she missed me and I told her to prove it. That's when we went to her room and had sex."

He paused to let his words sink in. Jessica made a face and said, "Somehow I don't think that's the end of it." "No, its not," Lucas said. "She did think that I was still in love with her. But when I got dressed and was getting ready to come here, she couldn't believe it. I told her it hurts doesn't it. Then I left."

"I don't get the last part," Jessica said, her eyes clouding with confusion. "Well, go grab a couple of sodas and some chips cause I'm gonna tell you all about it," Lucas said.
