At the end of the day, Selena felt weak. She felt weak and exhausted. It was a familiar feeling, but not at such a degree that she was used to. She felt emotionally weak and drained, and she did not know how to handle it. She wasn’t sure who she could consult or if she could consult anyone on how she was feeling.
She curled up on the couch and aimlessly watched TV. She wanted to do something to distract herself, but with it overcrowding her mind, she was unable to escape the day’s events. No activity, TV show or household chore could steal her attention away long enough to settle her. So she gave up and got comfortable on the couch before she let her mind wander.
She thought about how she woke up nervous, but over a silly reason she told herself. But as the day progressed, she slowly felt slightly sick. A simple dose of medication helped curb the symptoms, but it didn’t let her settle her mind during the day. A coffee break turned out only ok, when she broke the news to Dustin about how she felt. Not bad, by her standards.
However, as she settled in her apartment, she started to realize how it would affect her. She knew it was for the best, but at the moment, she felt terrible. A quick ice cream stop with Keladry and Lea was supposed to help. Instead, it had no significant affect and she was left feeling weak, exhausted and completely drained.
Selena didn’t know how long she would feel this way, but she hoped it was not forever. Because she wanted to get back to how she was before, but she was set for a long road ahead of her.
