Beautiful Illusions

I swear I hear two heart beats.
One by my ear.
The other in my chest.
But you're not here with me.
Why such things, then, do I hear?
I must be crazy.
But crazy feels good.

This poem means a lot to me because it reminds me of who it is in my life who makes me feel so happy.

    Wow...this speaks volumes! I love the way you write! So...simple, yet evocative and emotive at the same time. You draw the reader in to feel what you're feeling..and it feels nice!

    I read this, but by golly why didn't I comment?!? Well, I shall comment now. I loved this poem. It was short, but it had so much meaning and your passion behind it that it didn't matter. I love poems like that. You know? I love your tone, and your writing is persuasive and well thought out. Great Job!

    First (before my rant of course) I must tell you- great job! you are the second (of five) to read the whole contest and follow the rules
    Now. The rant, of course.
    This was so beautiful. It wa short and sweet and wonderful. I really loved it, and it was written really well.
