Flying from cloud to cloud, I watched as Ophelia bounced gracefully around collecting the wild flowers which grew amongst the swirls of white. Sometimes I wish she would stop being so innocent. Being a goddess was degrading sometimes. All we did was prance around in our flouncy dresses, and act all sweet and innocent like butter wouldn't melt in our mouths. It disgusted me, and it disgusted all the Goddess's too. We're only here to satisfy the God's needs. They were all so selfish, so biased. Apart from Evon. No, Evon was different. He valued the Goddess's opinions on how things were wrong in Olympus, they're were too many sexist God's an too many loyal Goddess's to defend what we had earned.
"Ophelia!" I whispered, knowing that the wind would carry my voice right to her.
"Oh Meladora!" She called, waving her hand gently at me. She skipped over to where I was perched on the edge of the cloud and joined me. "What are you doing out here alone, Zeus wouldn't like that Melly!"
I gritted my teeth impatiently, urgh. Not Zeus. He was the biggest Jack*** of them all! I couldn't believe Hera even put up with him, poor girl.
"Ophelia, I don't care about Zeus, I need to tell you something!"

She already knew though, that was the great thing about Ophelia, she knew everything. Her aqua eyes bored into mine, I saw the shock in them, the hurt but the complete and utter sense of freedom.
"Meladora, you can't go down there! You can't go down to Earth! It's forbidden! I'm sorry, I know its tough up here but we're forbidden, Zeus said-"
"Zeus does not own us! He cannot control us and I will not let him!" I roared, throwing my self up into the and staring wildly at her. "Athena said it was time us Goddess's had our say! We need this Ophelia! Zeus cannot rule over us like this, its not fair to anyone!"

Ophelia stared at me for a moment, than stood up and stared down into the small gape between the clouds, the only passage way out of Olympus.
"Why do I have the feeling I'm coming with you?" She smirked softly, rolling her eyes. "So who's coming with us then? Athena? Diana?"
"Better! Evon and Nyx!"
Ophelia turned her bright pink, and a giggle escaped from her lips. She covered her mouth quickly, Zeus hated laughter. I felt one coming from me, and soon we were both giggling like school girls.
"Dibs on Evon!" She shrieked, collapsing into a heap onto the soft ground, giggling her guts out.

Evon is twins with Aphrodite, the Goddess of love. This makes Evon the God of love, no one even knew he existed for their mother Zenobia didn't trust Aphrodite and her powers. Thus, she kept Evon for thousands and thousands of years, he's the newest member of the Gods and so far they hadn't taken much of a shine too him due to his respect for us Goddess's. He's different, he has bright yellow eyes which made his pupils look like black holes. He has a voice which was like an angel singing, his hair is ash blonde and wild, like some sort of animal. He's smouldering and sensitive, he is unique. Nyx is the Goddess of the night, she has visited Earth many times, she told us stories when we were children of the strange beings on Earth called humans. Now she tells us the stories of human men and the relations she's had with them. I mean we are teenagers, it takes a thousand years too become a child and another thousand years to become a teenager, but the great thing about being a God/Goddess is we can stop ageing. Whenever we want, I could stay sixteen or eighteen forever and nobody would say a thing about it. Nyx is nineteen and she said it rocks being a teen forever, especially when she has all those men chasing after her, even Apollo gives her the eye sometimes. Erghhh, Nyx and Apollo is not a good image.

"When are we leaving then?" Ophelia murmured, picking herself up from the ground and collecting her discarded basket of wild flowers. I checked the sky, but all I could see was white fluff.
"Around midnight, we need to me Evon, Nyx, Atheena and Hera here and we've got to be careful, if Zeus even suspects a thing at dinner were all screwed" I breathed out, we had to be cautious one slip and we'd get all the Goddess's in trouble for even thinking of such a thing, Especially Hera. She'd probably be banished from Olympus, wiped of her memory and sent to Earth to live as a human...but Zeus loves Hera, would he really go that far? Or would he banish all the Goddess's!? I shuddered  at the thought. "We need to go, dinner is about to start and were not even dressed yet!"
Ophelia nodded in agreement and with that we bounded back to the castle.

The Goddess's were rushing around frantically, trying to get their hair perfect and make sure their dresses were neat. That was the best thing about being me, I didn't really need to try, I mean I don't mean to boast and sometimes I wish things had worked out differently but I was the Goddess of beauty. Not just beauty though, I was also the Goddess of sweetness, care and of course...sexiness. It was always an awkward subject but that's just how things had turned out to be. I had natural beauty, I was the most beautiful woman in Olympus, aside with Aphrodite and Atheena and possibly Nyx. Of course all Goddess's were stunning, we just all had a different charm and I had the biggest elements of beauty.

"Sometimes I really envy you Meladora, your hair is always so perfect even when its messy! You have such deep light violet eyes, you have flawless, creamy skin and the curves of the sea. It's not fair!" Ophelia whined, as we made our way to dinner. I'd just thrown my off the shoulder gown, the sleeves were not attached, and the dip colour was ocean blue. It went with my skin colour perfectly. In my hair I wore a a blue ring of flowers, like a crown around my head. They make my ash-blonde hair stand out perfectly.
I smiled sweetly, and shrugged knowing I had that twinkle in my eye that could make a whole city go mad.
"Could you just be ugly for one night? That's all I'm asking!"
We began to giggle again, when we spotted Zeus marching straight towards us. I felt myself stiffen and the muscles in my arms go very tight.
"Holy Sh-"
"Ophelia that kind of language is not permitted here and you know that," He hissed quietly, like we were having a private conversation. Then he turned to me, I felt my muscles grow tighter and my heart began to rev, like it was an engine. "Meladora may I speak to you in my room please?"
I nodded dimly, and followed him as he turned to walk away. My heart was still pounding.

Zeus's room was extravagant, with fancy flooring and a tiled ceiling, he's bed was king sized and everywhere you turned there were statues and plants. There was so much gold, everywhere and everything was made out it, it was like a field of gold and it was starting to hurt my eyes.
"It's beautiful in here, Hera must be such a good decorator" I mused, leaning on the door for support.
"Not as half as beautiful as you" Zeus whispered. I turned my eyes on him and he was giving me an odd look. He began to walk slowly towards me "Here's the thing Meladora, I love Hera, I lover Hera very much but she and I were not meant to be...but you and I were"

I froze, oh my god. He did not just say that. No,no,no. Oh god no. He was close now, too close. I could feel his breath on me, I shivered and became rigid against the door.
"Just let me have one taste" He purred seductively, he's lips inches from mine"Just one" I felt his lips melt into mine and oh god it was disgusting . His hands came up to my sides and mine stayed frozen at my waist. His tongue pushed his was through my lips and I felt myself splutter. This...this is wrong! My head hissed, you're in love with Evon. You know its true, don't hide it. Zeus is jerk, in fact he's your worst enemy! Get our girl! Go now! I pushed Zeus away with all my strength and spat out he's putrid saliva and glared at the man.
"Your sick you know that? You're married Zeus, and I'm in love"
"Your not in love with that spoilt, arrogant Evon" He snarled, he's arms flexing. " You don't even know what love is you pathetic child!"
"I know what love is better than you do Zeus! Your meant to be married for crying out loud and you just came on to me!" I suddenly felt so angry. "Hera is a good woman, she's kind, beautiful and loving! She deserves someone far better than you Zeus, and believe me she hates you! She hates how you act as if Olympus is your kingdom! Its not! Its all of our kingdom! Your a selfish man Zeus and none of us like it, things need to change and trust me there going too!" I hissed, whirling around and flinging the door open.

I sprinted down the narrow corridor, god this isn't good, this is definitely not good. I jumped the stairs too at a time and finally came to the Goddess's dinner room, they were all in there. I burst throw the big glass door and frantically shouted:
"Has anyone seen Evon?!" God why did I just say that!?
"What's going on Meladora?!" Hera and Atheena jumped out of there seats, staring at me with alarm.
"Zeus knows! He knows! I need to go now! Oh god, where is Evon?!" I screamed from the top of my lungs, running out the room and down the hallway. "Evon!? Evon where are you!?" I bellowed, rushing around. Man I must look like a lunatic...
I was at the front door now, oh my god where was he!? I pushed the door open with such force the door hinges creaked. I couldn't stop running, he had to be somewhere.

I need to fly, I wouldn't be able to find him if I didn't. Ripping of my shoes, I jumped and I felt the air lift me.
"Evon?" I called, cupping my hands around my mouth. "Evon?"
"Meladora!?"
Holy crap its him!
"Evon!" I screamed as I saw him swoop up into the air, his eyes found mine and I found myself drawn to him. We flew towards each other, his arms were already open, welcoming me in. I flew into his arms like a bird and I felt him cradling me. "Evon we need to go, Zeus knows our plan, its time"
I felt his head nod against my shoulder and he suddenly trapped my hand and we raced down towards the open clouds.
"Wait Evon how are we going to get back?!"
He smiled wryly, his eyes were deep and passionate.
"Simple, we stay with my mum"
I stared at him for a moment.
"Erm what?!" I looked at him in astonishment, his hair was so tousled.
"You'll see" He smirked, as we fell through the sky, away from Olympus down to Earth.
