oh this word is sooooo cool! and yes the origins are german, i checked, but very nice. i had never heard this before. i learn something knew everyday i guess.

But this is a very good word. I hadn't been aware of its existence before now, so thanks for introducing it to me. Definitely German, I think, but it appears in an English dictionary too, so it's passed that test.
