Background summary of character:

Born to a pack, she was raised (literally) by wolves. As a pup, she was stolen from her family and sold, as a wolf to a circus. It didn't take the ring leader long to realize she'd gotten a werewolf instead of a wolf.

The ring leader helped Tala control her shifting; using that ability to entrall audiences the realm over. In her time at the circus, Tala was introduced to several other unfortunates that had been sold into the circus. The only one she favored, however, was Zev. (See below for description of Zev)

As Tala grew from pup to full-blown wolf, the circus changed owners. The new owner disbanded the circus, fired most of the regular workers and caged those that had abilities like Tala. Selling tickets to people to come stare at them and poke them with sticks, the new owner was too busy counting coins and spending them frivilously to notice two from the exhibit escape.

Out in the wild with little to know knowledge of how anything outside of the circus works, Tala and Zev are headed into a load of trouble and adventure...

Background summary of character:

Born to a she-wolf owned by a circus, Zev was rejected by his mother. As that there was no father (known of, anyways) the circus ringleader turned him over to Tala to care for. Tala taught him how to shift from wolf and human (and all in between) at will.

When the circus was bought out by a rich gentleman, Zev was locked away in a cage away from Tala. After enduring a few weeks of malnutrition and abuse by onlookers, Tala managed to smuggled herself and Zev out of the "zoo."

Out in the wild with little to no knowledge of how anything outside of the circus works, Tala and Zev are headed into a load of trouble and adventure...

Background summary of character:

Living with his parents in a rather secluded hut up a mountainside, Josh learned from his father and mother in just about everything he could. He didn't know that they hid there alone because of their marriage or even because he was a threat to most of the fairy and demon nations.

His father was killed when he was still a boy and his mother spirited them away when the killers followed his father's tracks back to them. She managed to keep him concealed while they hid in a cave not far off.

Traveling from town to town for the next few years, Josh watched his mother practically die before his eyes as she mourned for her one true love. He watched her silver hair turn white and her smooth face turn weary and wrinkled. She was soon too weary to fly with him and they were sentenced to walking or riding everywhere.

Upon the death of his mother from a disease, Josh wandered the countryside, looking for purpose and understanding. He tried to hide his fairy/demon natures and, for the most part, passes off as human.

After several mysterious attempts on his life, he's taken refuge in the wilderness. Over the course of several days, Josh has had very little success with anything save catching a few squirrels and a rabbit or two. He's pretty close to starving, but not so much that he's lost any weight (yet).
