Clarifying a word for those who read this....yes, xenix is a word. "Xenix was a version of the Unix operating system, licensed by Microsoft from AT&T in the late 1970s." Nope doesn't date me, tho feeling old today since I'm another year older....groan.
Back on topic:
New words come along as the need arises. While I'm not too sure what the definition of Xenix you were going for, I won't question that is it a legit word.

i think it's a fake word personally..."xenix". fabricated... I can't find it anywhere either.

hmmm...
wherever did you find a word like xenix? I tried looking it up in a few ways...my dictionary, as well as the online dictionary & thesaurus on yahoo...and they all say it's not listed as a word. Is it made up? Or perhaps archaic and therefore not listed in the usual places or something?
got me curious now... lol -
