The Unlucky Me - Chapter 19

Kelly took Zach to go meet his other grandparents (her parents). Jake wanted to go but mom is making him stay for at least a couple of days.

Jimmy went to go visit his family.

Aunt Grace arrives at 12 with all her kids.

“Hi Julie” Aunt Grace says and hugs my mom.

She hugs each and every one of us including David.

Rudy looks at me and I give him an evil look. Rudy is the one I hate the most. He treated Chase like they weren’t even related let alone twins.

He gives me a dirty look back.

“Got any toys?” Nicole asks Sydney.

“yeah. Lets go up to my room” Sydney says.

“Ok” Nicole says.

Everett follows them.

“Karley” Jillian says

“Hi Jillian. How are you?” Karley says as friendly as she can.

“I’m good. How are you?” Jillian asks

“I’m ok.” she says

“How is Jim?” Jillian asks

“He’s good. He went to go visit his family.” Karley says.

“How about you show me where I can go shopping” Jillian says.

“Sure” Karley says.

“I’ll drive” Jake says.

So Jake, Jillian and Karley all go to the mall.

Me and Mason are stuck with Rudy and Sam.

“Got any places to hang out or anything?” Rudy asks.

“Not really. The park” I say

“Oh” He says. “Are we allowed to go there?” he asks

“Uhh…yeah” I say

“Ok. Lets go” he says.

“Ok” I say

“Mom. Rudy and I are goin to the park” I say

“ok. Be good” she says

“yeah…whatever” I say

We walk down the street.

“How come you talk to your mom like that?” he asks

“cause she’s a bitch” I say

“Please don’t use foul language around me” Rudy says.

“Yeah right. Imma swear all I want to. You can’t do shit” I say

He sighs and I smile.

When we get to the park I see Megan, Courtney, Kayla, Nicci and Hillary.

“Great” I say to myself.

“Hi Ginny. Who’s your friend?” Megan asks

“This is my cousin Rudy” I say deeply.

“Ohh…Hi Rudy” She says holding out her hand.

“Why hello pretty lady” Rudy says and kisses her hand.

“Yuck” I say. “Come on Rudy, lets go somewhere else”

“No. I like it right here.” he says. “Plus you gotta stay with me in case I get lost”

I growl.

I hate him so much.

While Rudy and Megan flirt I get to know her so called friends.

“She’s such a slut” Nicci says

“She always gets the guys” Kayla says.

“Wow. I thought y’all we’re friends” I say surprised

“We are.” Courtney says

“Just sometimes we can’t stand her” Kayla says

“Damn.” I say

“So that’s your cousin?” Courtney asks

“Yeah” I say “Unfortunately” I say

“He’s pretty ugly” Nicci says

“You know Megan’s only flirting with him because she thinks it’ll piss you off right?” Hillary says to me.

“Yeah. I kinda figured” I say

“Bitch” We all say at the same time.

“Y’all are pretty cool” I say. “I’m sorry for bein such a bitch to you guys, its Megan I hate” I say

“Its ok” They all say.

“We’re all sorry for being bitches to you and making fun of you all the time” Kayla says.

“Its iight. I know how it goes.” I say

“Why are you girls talking to her?” Megan says walking up to all of us.

“Sorry Megan” Courtney says.

“You know what Megan. Fuck you! You always pick on people who YOU think are freaks or weird and all that. And I’m sick of it. Ginny is a kick ass girl and I’d love to be her friend. If she’ll let me that is” Kayla says.

“Its cool with me” I say

“So you know what Megan, stop being a slut and get a fucking life” Kayla says.

She grabs my arm and walks away. I grab Rudy’s arm and drag him along too.

“Hey” he says

“Shut up Rudy. She doesn’t even like you” I say.

“Wow Kayla. You do realize all them girls are gonna be talking shit about you know” I say

“Yeah. I don’t care. They can talk all they want.” Kayla says.

I walk her back to her house and then me and Rudy walk home.

“That girl didn’t like me?” he asks

“Nope. She just acted like it to piss me off” I say

“That’s not cool” he says

“I’m sorry” I say

“Shut up Ginny” he says

“Fuck you. Ya ass” I say.

When we get home I slam the door shut and go upstairs.

I blast my music and lay on my bed.

Someone knocks on my door.

“Ginny?” my mom says

“What?” I ask angrily.

“Why are you up here. You are suppose to be spending time with your cousins.” she says

“Cause, Rudy is being an ass.” I say “They are all too stuck up for me”

“I know they are. But you just gotta tough it through” she says

“I’m good” I say

She sighs. “You know….sometimes I just don’t understand you. You’re just so hard to read these days” she says

“Whatever mom.” I say

She sighs again and walks out of my room.

I hear the phone ring.

“Ginny! Phone!” My mom yells.

I get up and pick up the phone in my room.

“Hello?”

“Hey Ginny” Shane says weakly

“OH MY GOD!! SHANE!! Are you ok? I was so worried about you!” I say really fast.

“Yeah. I’m good. My arm hurts so bad.” he says

“Don’t you ever do that again Shane. I dunno what I would do without you” I say and start crying.

“Please don’t cry Ginny” he says

“Sorry…I can’t help it” I say

“I’m coming home soon” he says

“Really?” I say

“Yeah. I’ll call you later though. I just called to let you know I was ok:” he says

“Ok bye Shane. I love you and miss you” I say

“Love and miss ya too” he says and hangs up.
