It was cold that night by the ship dock. The bars were all closed, the wet pavements dimly lit by street lamps. Ishmal was standing behind the fog, with his tousled damp hair partly covering his pale face. Then Mithra came closer, close enough so that he could see him more clearly. Ishmal lifted his head, his eyes were of beautiful shades of blues and greens, but it was teary and scared like Mithra's.
"Ishmal, what's wrong?"
"What should we do now?" he looked down and continued. "For the first time in my existence, I dont know what to do. And Im so scared, so alone."
"We cannot do anything anymore Ishmal, you have to understand that our fates have been sealed, We have nothing left to do but accept the Trinity's decision."
Ishmal was barefoot and wet. He shivered from the cold because he was naked after falling from the sky.
"Wear these Ishmal. Do not worry, it is a graver sin here for the people to see you like this, than to borrow someone else's clothings without permission." Ishmal took the coat, and then started to cry once again,
"I cant read your mind anymore Mithra. I cant feel your emotions anymore. I feel trapped. I feel tired and out of words."
"This is how it's like to be human Ishmal... There's too much torment and suffering. But we will try to get by... because I love you and I will never leave you."
"I love you too Mithra, but as a consequence, we have loved God less than what we have for each other. And now we are destined to die and be judged like the rest of mankind."
"I have seen that humans tend to be fickle when it comes to love and many other things, and temptation thrives in misunderstandings and in their weak hearts. But Ishmal, still my love for you runs deep and has not yet faded."
Ishmal looked down and said, "So does mine Mithra."
They left the ship dock that night, and then found a place to live in nearby. After a few years, their human ways seeped in and lead them into separate paths -the pain of which they eventually soon forgot.
