Why do we die? Where do we go after we die? And what is it like?

The Philosophy of Death and its Components

 Death is very mysterious and complex; there are very few theories that go into subsiquential detail. Some believe that after we die, we return as a specter to haunt friends and their living enemies, and even others they may not have known while living. The idea of someone coming back from the dead is just bizarre and proposterous in my opinion, though bodies do look as if they may reach up, grab you and pull you in with them. (Jesus and Lazarus are exceptions), I stand true to my faith. I believe that ghosts are demons that plague people for things that they have done wrong, in other words their sins. I have included a few theories that i have read about over the years, here are but a few of what people believe will happen after death.

Theory of the Zombie1

Zombies are living corpses, that technically are not alive, more like the walking undead.3

My opinion: Preposterous; bodies cannot come back from the dead. The idea of a zombie comes from an old voodoo belief; where they are created by a shaman who sucks out a person's soul, putting it into a jar, after a few days they die. The shaman digs up the body a few days later, recites an incantation and returns the soul to its owner's body, thus bringing the corpse back to life. The shaman then uses the zombie to do their evil biding or even work in factories or on plantations. 4

The other type of zombie is actually a living person who has been hypnotized or given a certain type of herb that slows down their heart and pulse, making them believe that they are dead.6

I advise you, do not believe the theory of the modern day zombie, or in fact the zombie at all, no body could be brought back to life, medical science has proven it countless times.

Theory of the Ghost

Ghosts are believed to be troubled, hateful, lonely, or vengeful spirits that can never be put to rest, or do not want to. Poltergeists on the other hand are destructive spirits, that torment people, scaring them out of their minds, and sometimes into insanity.8

Some spirits can be put to rest, but certain requirements must be fulfilled first.10

Few people ever have dreams of the departed or actually see them while they are wide awake. Rarely the spirits comfort the individual, mostly they torment and hurt people, driving their tenants insane or to commit suicide. Some of the time they have left some unfinished business, either way, when these requirements are met, then shall the dead find respite? 12

My Opinion: Ghosts are really demons deceiving us, making us believe in them, do not be tempted by their many forms, they are pure evil.


Theory of the Demon

Although ghosts and zombies are alike in many ways, they have nothing on demons. 14

Demons are considered to be one of the most foul and terrifying beings in history, next to their ruler, Satan. 16

My Opinion: They do exist and are amongst us tempting us to sin, even though we may not see them, does not mean that they are not there. We humans picture them as  horrid beasts with  twisted horns and dagger-like teeth, sharp claws that can tear flesh to ribbons, in reality they are actually fallen angels that love to torment people and pull them into hell for their constant sinning.18

Their time will soon come when their master will deceive people by saying that he is our messiah (lord), and die, and be resurrected. Do not believe him, he is the antichrist, the devil in human flesh, here to take you to hell with him for all eternity. The end is coming, but the date is not known, change your way of life or spend eternity in the lake of fire.


Many things exist in this world, many left yet undiscovered, but no matter how hard we try, we shall never uncover the buried secrets of our dying world.20
