I Don't Mind

I Don’t Mind

I don’t mind if you love someone else,
As long as your love’s not wasted.

I don’t mind if you cry,
As long as she didn’t make you.

I don’t mind if you don’t feel whole,
As long as you don’t think I’m your half.

I don’t mind if you reminisce us,
As long as you don’t ask for ‘one more night’.

I don’t mind if you miss me,
As long as you don’t miss us.

I don’t mind if you dream,
As long as you don’t dream about us.

I don’t mind if you love,
As long as you don’t the memory of us.

I don’t mind if you leave,
Everything was just not right.

Author notes

This is just a small poem I made up while I was making dinner. xD And I added some other lines to it to make it longer.

Please tell me what you think

You sound very mature and forgiving.

Wow.. you can make dinner.. AND poems! Haha! I can't make dinner.. and this certainly is a beautiful read. I can relate with most of us here - in fact, some of the lines speak about unconditional love.. and yet, some parts also have this softyl brewing bitterness and resentment.. wow... simply divine might I say? I really did enjoy this ^_^ thanks for sharing this with us
