The circus came to down
They had monkey, elephants and a clown
Chimps with funny cloths
Ducks and rabbits aligned in rows
I heard of trumpets and trombones
And goofy actors with necklaces of bones
I heard they have a parade
Trainers in masquerade
I heard of chimpanzees juggle
Magicians hiding bunnies in snuggle
But the best of them all
The clown so tiny and small
With a red cute little nose
And a horn it goes and blows
A funny mask to cover the face
A goofy disguise to disguise the inner trace
Monkeys gibber at him
He feels down and dim
Yet his face always goes to smile
And moving so versatile
Funny how people come to laugh
As he slides down the giraffe
Tumbling with the bears
Jumping over the broken chairs
But inside he holds a mystery
Bittersweet agony and misery
What unfolds behind the face?
Tears and sobs hid in a case
Fake smiles come to fold
The pale face so cold
Funny acts cover sadness
Turning it into gladness
He goes to goof and play
Jump and sing all the way
Audience crack up in laughter
But he cries and weeps thereafter
Please tell me what you think
