Leaves crunched underneath her feet. A jade eye flickered at me through the wavy mass of auburn hair, tousled by the wind.
"Sígueme," she said, fronds grazing her olive skin. She glowed in the moonlight.
"¿Dónde... dónde está la cascada?" My Spanish was terrible.
"Casi," she said. Almost.
The path widened. Sounds of the river water grew louder. Mist shimmered on her curves. The crunching of leaves beneath our feet disappeared, replaced by the soft padding of bare foot on rock.
She looked back at me, meeting my eye with hers, then disappeared into the waterfall.
Two wet footprints remained above the cascade. The mist caressed my face. "Estamos aquí," it said.

Author notes
Option 9
I wrote in the Spanish because I figured what she was saying had little or no importance, but in case you were wondering...
La cascada -- "the waterfall"
sígueme -- "Follow me."
"¿Dónde está...?" -- "Where is...?"
"Estamos aquí." -- "We are here."
Sorry for the confusion
