All I Did Was Love You

She felt tears run down her face, she picked up the phone and hit speed-dial number 4,

"Hello?"

"Crystal, its me."

"Soph? Whats up?"

Sophie stared at the computer screen, there it was the proof he had cheated, what he had done to her.. all those lies, all those things he'd told her had been a lie and now, she had the proof. The proof she'd wanted so badly then, and now, it tore her heart apart again as she re-read it.

"Soph..."

The voice of her best friend was in her ear, she did nothing but sniff and then the tears followed.

"He's really twisted the knife this time..." she hiccuped.

"Sophie..." Crystal sounded confused.

"He slept with her Crystal, hes now dating her..."

She heard Crystal gasp and the sound of threats and promises fly down the phoneline, that was what she wanted to hear, someone else wanted to hurt this guy. This guy she'd held above all others, she'd waited for, turned away others for... she was a fool.

"Whatever you do Soph... don't phone him..."

Sophies tears froze and then she sniffed, waiting for new ones,

"You have haven't you?" Crytal's voice shrieked, "You already rang him?"

"I had to hear it from him..." she cried, "I had to know that it wasnt a lie... that I meant nothing to him."

"I'll be right round."

"No hunni, I need alone time."

"Alright, be careful."

The phone line went dead and Sophie did something she'd never done before, she switched her phone off and turned her attention back to the computer.

He already had a picture of her up; of them together. He'd never had one of them and claimed one didn't exsit, she had 11 pictures, 11 of them together and he'd never once asked for a picture of them together.

He'd used her.

She saw that now, she meant nothing to him. She was small, pathetic and useless... and he'd listed those to her, down the phone.

He'd kept her to keep his options open, incase things didn work with, with this girl, he'd still have Sophie, sitting there and waiting for the click of his fingers, she'd be on the first train down and she would jump into his arms and declare her love over and over. It only occured to her now, he used her, his feelings were robotic, he repeated the same thing over and over and he'd used her for what he wanted. For his pleasures.

She felt more tears appear, fresh ones.

A new message appeared on the screen,

"U've seen his myspaz thn?"

His best friend, Karen.

"Hw u gues?"

"The fact tht he's now offline, gne 2 c her props."

She cried harder. Everything that could have gone wrong this week had, and now, it was getting worse.

"he's not wrth u hun, ur wrth mre... we all tld u tht."

"i shud hav listened... cheers karen."

"no worries."

She stepped away from the computer and stared at the last picture she owned of him, she had her lighter against it,

"All i did was love you." she whispered aloud, knowing she'd never say this to him, "Was that too much for you too handle?"
