Templar

The tide of sin had affected the world so; no longer did the order of the faith control the hearts of man. Its affirmities had been merely crushed by the dominant hand of complacency, and it was this complacency that bred the error of false security, and lost freedom, induced by a psychotic mentality of unresolved gratification. Even hearts that opposed the matter soon fell to the slaughter; it wasn’t long before the higher urge overcame the leap, and turned heart to bitter stone. A soul was void of life; it had been robbed of essence, sucked dry by the nothingness of complete and utter death itself, until the rigid, decaying form of bitter, robotic shell, lying dormant of its ghostly companion, was enveloped with constant self de-animation.

Just mimics, mere zombies replicating their former selves, whose spirits had been suppressed to the point of no return, where the torment inside the imprisoned state drowned out such screams of freedom until the voice became as though a passing of the wind. Such was the lives of the world at large, one of which separation from, was by almost any means impossible.

Realising one’s fate became no easier in hope of escaping the process. It eluded to the point of absolute consummation, and freedom of the mind never produced the desired outcome, merely only adding to the torment of one’s suppression and decline into pure madness.

It was an entrapment in decay. And the decayed would go at any length to stop outbreak. It was the very nature of the dissolving mind, breeding mentality of spiritual, rather than physical destruction. To destroy embodiement was a crime punishable by death, under any pretext other than the proposed authority of ‘eye for an eye’; yet to consume one’s heart and soul, to destroy their very essence, to rip from them the life of which they inherited at large was simply a way of society, deserving of no punishment, and acknowledged by none. It was this mis-understanding that was a breeding ground for the revolution, the darkened harvest of souls, and the destruction of the conscious being, until the world was in the grip of the Absolute of nothingness, the absolution of sin.

What had begun was the turning of the tide, the following decline of the ethereal life. No longer would brother encourage each other in raising the banner, but rather, in allowing oneself the ease of pain, despite the advent of gain; and the eventual process of acceptation beyond measure, until prejudice was released on the former, and the rebellion stood against the non-aesthetic.

So, what was one to do, to stop the inevitable? Had the Almighty failed in his conquest of modern society, had He simply turned from those too weak to resist the unseen, had He abandoned the current state of man, ending the Holy harvest with the last of the winners already secured safely behind the barred gates of judgement?

One must be driven to find answers to such problems. Modern society had afflicted the Path unto recognition was an uncertainty; no longer could one follow the proscribed ways, solely as they were. Fear of danger prevented man from destroying the pure and Holy; most often this was only represented in the perfected Word; driven by such fear of judgement, of which the derelict body posthumously avoided.

Such was where thine answers could be found.

And once the answered had been found, what was left was only resolution of the problem; study was followed by action, and finally reaction. No matter what cost, ‘thine will be done, thine Kingdom come, on Earth as it is in heaven’.

So it shall be. By wrath and fury, by extraction of the dissident, by elimination of the mass evil and the overcoming and triumphing of human weakness, such shall be the pedestal and mantle of the LORD’s success. ‘Those who live by the sword, die by the sword’. And so we shall, as the raging warriors of the apocalypse, we shall die at the hands of our enemy, as unworthy a sheep as the next, redeemed only for the riddance of evil, which ultimately includes ourself, oh one of doomethd faith. Every sight and every sound shall burn by fire, every living creature and scrambling sin on legs, shall be tossed into early judgement, halting further procession of the lineage of sin. For no second chance may be given, no prolonged and further mercy, ‘but only a fearful expectation of judgement and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God’. Though we be partakers of such alignment, we shall also be that fire, the all-consuming, never ending, totality of the fallen, serving only as the unwavering wrath of God.

Forgiveness comes 77 times 7. But the sword only comes once.

Author notes

This is a highly controversial piece of work. It is written as though it were a form of speech or sililoquoy. It is from the perspective of a post-age religious fanatic leading an advanced technological movement towards the destruction of the world. It is a reminder of faith gone wrong, born from a world gone wrong.

Hm. Curious. I'm not sure why you called it highly controversial as I see no comments here. Nonetheless, it is well written and well told. It's an interesting piece, and I like it. Whether or not I agree with it, I'm not sure. It's something to think about, that much is sure. Thank for sharing this with the rest of us.

Simply because it is quite radical, but nevertheless, a piece of writing and expression of thought.
