I woke up to really bright lights..Ugh! stupid sun..Where's the curtains when you need them. My dad walked in and knocked on the door lightly "Rise and shine baby girl it's breakfast time"

Already? But didn't we eat...oh...that was last night... I wasn't even hungry right now.. I got up way too fast because as soon as I was standing I fell back down on the bed. I hated being light headed..

I got back up..this time I was more cautious, I looked in the mirror which was on one of my dressers and was horrified by what I saw. My hair looked like it had been through hell. Ugh! I hate morning hair. I quickly ran to the bathroom and grabbed a pink brush and tried combing through it but it was so tangly and It hurt.

I ran back over to my bedroom and grabbed an outfit then I ran back to the bathroom again. I tossed all of my clothes that were on me, onto the floor and took the brush with me into the shower.

After shampooing and conditioning my hair I let the water run over it while brushing it and trying to get my hair untangled. I'm never gonna go to be with my hair down again. I have no idea why it was so tangly.

I finally got all the tangles out, which seemed like it took forever to do. I quickly dried myself off and threw on the out fit I had picked. It was a blue tank top and some jeans. I wonder how my dad got me some cute outfits..Then I figured a girl probably picked it out.

I walked slowly down the stairs, I was still really tired and didn't want to get up at the crack of dawn. But my dad was being here for me so I was going to be there for him also.

"There you are baby girl, I want you to meet someone"

I finally reached the table to where my dad was at. There sitting at the table was A really hott guy about my age. I almost fell over. Ugh! I hate being around hott guys, I can never think straight.

"Baby girl, this is Jared" I looked up at the boy with bronze hair and dark green eyes. Wow. That's all I could think at this point. "Jared is Andreis's younger brother"

Oh boy...

I had no clue he even had a younger brother or that his younger brother was extreamly hott. "Hi" He said while giving me his hand to shake. I took it.

His voice was so deep and amazing..ugh.. wow.

"hi" I said in a week voice. He smile at me. He was about 4 inches taller than me. I don't know why I was think about height..He confused me.

I sat down next to him at the table and we began to eat our breakfast, which was eggs and bacon.

"You'll see Jared a lot because He works for me on my farm, I'm grateful his father lets him work on mine instead of his..." My father trailed off.

I took a bite of bacon and a sip of orange juice.

"But anyways..Jared is going to help teach you how to help me with the farm" My dad said to me.

Wait...Help with the farm?

But I don't know how to do anything...I don't know anything about farms! I was not going to complain though..My dad was the reason I was safe now so I was going to help him in anyway I could.

Besides..this should be easy considering I love animals and nature..right?

I looked over at Jared and thought ' Yeah I could do this..I've got a really hott teacher.' Jared looked over and smiled at me.

"Were gonna start with the cows first.. I'm going to teach you how to milk a cow" He smiled up at me.

Huh? Milk a what?

After breakfast was over we walked out to the barn where the cows were at and jared sat down on a stool by the cow. He reached over to the cow where her nipples were and pulled then gently until they squirted out milk into the bucket.

Eww...What if I were a cow and people did that to me?? Yeah that's all I could think up to this point..I did not want to do this but I knew I had to.

"It's that simple, you just have to make sure you do it lightly so it don't hurt her or she might kick ya" he said with a smile.

He got up and I sat down. I sat there for what seemed like an hour. "Are you confused?"

Jared asked me. I just nodded my head. I didn't want to be the one to get kicked. He was nuts if he thought I was gonna go anywhere near those things.

He came up behind me and placed his hands on my arms and I felt goosebumps go all the way up my arms. He guided me to her nipples and I lightly pulled her nipples one at a time. The whole time I kept repeating in my head "please don't kick me."

"that a girl your doing a great job babe" Jared said to me.

"wow I'm doing it..I'm actually doing it" I said while turning to look at him.

I can't believe I actually milked a cow.

When we were done I Walked back to the house to wash my hands. I wasn't sure what we were going to do next..

Jared came behind me and washed his hands the same time as me.

"where's my dad?" I asked.

"Out training the horses." He said while scrubing his hands with soap.

"training them for what?"

"Horse races"

Wow I was so confused up to this point..why would they put horses in horse races?

I followed Jared out the door, we walked over to where my dad was racing a horse.

"You want to ride a horse baby girl?" My father asked me.

"Yeah" I said excitedly. I had never done anything like this before..

Jared helped me up on the horse and patted her back "this here is Speed" he said with a smile.

"speed?" i asked.

"yeah...she's the fastest horse we ever trained...but don't worry we'll go slow with you" I nodded.

We ran in a slow pace around the fenced in area..I felt free when I was on her..I felt like I could escape the past.

"So do you like her?" My dad asked from outside of the fence as I slowly got off of her.

"Yea she's beautiful" and she was with her black coat.

"thanks" My father said.

I nodded my head and smiled at him.."Do you have a rider for her in the horse races?" I asked him.

He shook his head. "No, the girl quit who was doing it for us.." he trailed off. I felt really bad for him.

"Now we have to find a new one" Jared said.

I got this really crazy Idea..

"I could be your rider" I said...I know it sounded crazy but I felt free when I was riding Speed and If I could feel like that in a race and still help my dad.. why wouldn't I?

"You have to have a horse liscence" My dad said.

"well can't I get one?"

My dad looked over at me then over at Jared

"What do you think?" He asked Jared.

"I think that if she gets her horse liscence then we could train her how to. That's what I think"

My dad nodded his head as if thinking about his choices.

"Okay I'll get you the books to study for it and then you can take your test and if you pass it then you can.."

I ran over and hugged my father. This made me so happy. I was not going to let him down.

I can't believe that I just said I would be a jockey for my father..And he had agreed to it. This was the most amazing thing that had ever happened to me. What in the world was I going to do? Well study a lot that was for sure..

What about Andreis though..

I havn't seen him at all and It's been 2 days. Today was a new day and it started the same. Waking up early and taking a shower..eating breakfast with my dad and Jared and then working on the farm.

To someone else this might seem boring, but to me I was never bored. I loved hanging out with Jared and taking care of the farm. It was wonderful.

"Are you even listening to me?" Jared said, bringing me back to earth. I honestly hadn't been paying attention.

"Of course I was listening to you..I always listen to you.."

He put his hands on his hips.

"Okay then, what did I say?"

say? Umm... Okay I had been caught. I had no clue what he had said.

"You know what you said, you don't need me to repeat it for you" I said with a smile.

We had just gotten inside from doing all the farm work and Me riding speed around. Taking her faster around the farm. I loved riding her.

I loved her so much it was like she was mine.

"I said you look really pretty" He said while handing me a plate. I put the plate in the dishwasher.

"Oh thanks" I said while blushing.

Hanging with Jared always made me feel special..it was probably because he was always giving me compliments.

My birthday was in a couple weeks and I wasn't excited like regular people were.. But my father wanted to throw me a party even though I didn't want on but I wasn't going to argue with him.

He wanted to invite Jared, Andreis, Sarah, and their father. I didn't want to see Andreis or Sarah but I wasn't going to argue. My father said I could invite anyone and I didn't really no anyone. But then I was thinking about drake..the boy I met at the hotel, I could probably invite him but I'm not sure if he would want to come though..

Oh well.. I would live I guess. Even though I never wanted to see Andreis or sarah again, Well this would be the last time I hoped.

Well at least Jared would be there. Jared was starting to become my bestfriend. We went everywhere together. He was taking me to the movies later on today and I was excited about that.

I had never been to the movies before. My mom never took me anywhere.. I hadn't told Jared or my father anything about my past...maybe it was best that way though..

I wasn't sure what I was going to wear to the movies tonight though.. Well I wasn't going to dress up..... becuase this was not a date this was just a ....friendship thing..

Then why was I so nervous? Ugh!

I went up stairs to get a shower and get dressed. I was not going to look crappy at the movies. Since he was nice enough to ask me out to the movies..wait is it a date since he asked me there?

Oh great now I'm confused so I'm probably going to dress up and now It's going to be a huge disaster. Ugh!!
