Dads are a lot like water
you might not think so now
but after I read you this poem
you will understand
water can pull or push you
with lots of force
just like any dad can
lift about anything
Water can eat away a rock
or even a whole city
a Dad too can eat any food
just to make sure there aren't any leftovers
Water can be peaceful
and soothe your mind
just like a Dad can hold you
when you start to cry
Water can take any shape
the sky is the limit
just like a Dad's
mind is open to all possibilities
Water is refreshing
after being in the sun
just like a Dad's love is
after being away for so long
Water can be anything
peaceful, mad, fun, refreshing,
any color,beautiful....
just like you Dad
