“My Guitar”

My lovely guitar
It music goes to very far
My guitar, like my heart
From which melodies start

• Strings like veins
Stitched to it like chains
Like my heart it beats
Music and rhyme it repeats

• My guitar so dear
Creates dreams with no frontiers
Strings rattle in charm
A heart beating underneath my arm

• Every time I feel so sad
It comes in rhymes to clad
My tearful eyes in chime
With it’s magical rhyme

• Golden glittering strings
From which tune springs
The cause of my glory
The keeper of my love story

I thought this poem was good. The rhyming seemed a little forced but the concept was good. I liked it.
