The saddest day I ever knew.
The day life was taken from my son.
Some people cries and whaled.
Some stood in disbelief.
While others waited, for what's to happen next.
Do they not understand, He is dead! He is gone!
There is a chill in the air.
Many are asking questions.
I wonder why so many don't care.
The day grows dark as thunder fills the air.
This is more than I can bare.
James bids me to come home.
How can one leave her son.
I feel the rain coming in the air.
There is more darkness in the hills over there.
Tonight I sit in total disbelief.
How can one sleep, with all this grief.
For two day I have not been able to eat.
The others have all spread out.
Now I hear Peter is gone.
"Oh God! What is yet to come?"
I have to go and check on my son.
"Mary! What is it you said about the tomb?"
"Don't tell me He is gone! Who took my son?"
"Yes it is the third day, I know!"
Here we are, and the tomb is empty as can be.
"He said He would return?"
"Then to His Father's home, body and soul."
"Maybe the followers they would know?"
"Well at last we meet."
"My son says He is not complete."
"Soon He says He will go to heaven above."
"This is the last time I will see my son."
"Remember your mother's love."
"May God be with you where you go."
"Peace be with Him above, and us below.
"May we who believe in Him follow soon."
As He watched the disciples, teach of His love.
So much has changed here on earth.
Everyone must understand, "He paid the price for all of us."
"To be with Him in Heaven above."
One must change ones life.
There are rules one must follow to be with Him.
Give your heart and soul to Him.
Talk to Him, so you will know Him like a father.
He prepares for that wonderful day when, He calls for me and you.
When God the Father and His Son comes to take us Home.
