Fire In Your Eyes

The fire grew with the coming wind

Tangled in the lies you spun

Treachery comes with the dangers done

You follow with bleeding heart and broken wing

Hoping for forgiveness here

We are warned not to gaze upon those who betrayed

But I was tangled in your web again

A haunting: a burning burrowed in soulless eyes

Your heart cries.

I die.

Poetic certainly...why is it in a "story" pulldown. I am bothered by the break in the music with: "For forgiven"...and "A haunting: A burning...etc."
Just somewhat subjective. Still dramatic; poetic!

Thanks for the comment. The pause is for dramatic effect and the words for appropriate imagery.
