The Last Shot

There was 33.5 seconds left in one of the biggest games in my life and my team was down five and the opposing team was inbounding. They passed the ball in and immediately me my teammate began the doubleteam. The guard was shooken up he had nowhere to go, nowhere to hide. Suddenly he made a big mistake he tried to dribble instead of pass the ball and I stripped him and took the ball in for an easy layup. The coach on the other team called an immediate timeout to get the ball atleast pass the halfcourt line. I then looked up at the clock and now it only showed 22.2 seconds which doesn't seem like alot of time but when you know that your shot is on that's plenty of time, but the only thing was that we didn't have possession of the ball they did and we had to get from them before our great season went down the drain like the Detroit Pistons. Finally it was crunch time. We were down 3 and the other team was inbounding. I was all over their pointguard and the inbounding count was at three so the inbounder had to throw the ball in. He did and I was right there to tip the ball away, but I tipped it towards the sideline and I dived for the ball to throw it in and I succeded. My teammate caught the ball and was rammed down by the other team and a foul was called. I looked up at the clock and it now said 13.2 seconds left in the game. We were on the road as I looked into the stands and saw my classmates and teachers eyes

and the look that they all had in their eyes like they belived in me which made me believe in myself even more. We were now inbounding and everyone knew that I was going to get the ball even the other team. So the ball was inbounded and the ball looked as if it was in slow motion, thats was how focused and determined I was to score. I caught the ball and there came the double. I passed it but got it back right away. I looked up at the clock and it now said 9.8 seconds and I knew that if I was going to score I had to score now. But the only thing in my mind was whether to the three and tie the game or take a two and believe that we'll get it back. At the time I wasn't a real good three point shooter and I knew that and I also knew that I can get to the basket at will. So the question was whether to take the three and tie or go to the rack to score two. The clock now said 5 and I went straight to the basket even though I knew this could come back to bite us. Then that was it I was at the basket for two. Now we were down one with 4.1 seconds left and they had the ball. They had notimeouts to advance the ball so they'll get the ball out of the backcourt. So they threw the ball in as I jumped over the top of everyone to get the ball ang I got it but as I came down I felt this sharp pain in the bottom part of my leg. Turns out I twisted my ankle but even that couldn't stop my pursuit for scoring. I got the ball as the crowd began to cout down 4..3..2..1 as I shot but with my leg hurting I couldn't elevate so that altered my shot, then the big man running to block my shot didn't help either, as my shot hit the rim, bounced around and fell in as I fell down on my messed up foot. The crowd was in shock but it didn't matter to me at all as my whole team and all my classmates and teachers were all on top of me because we were now going to the chip for the first time in my school history!!!

    captured

I couldn't stop reading this story, it captured my attention very effectively. My favorite part was the description of the shot itself. Also, one thing to help me more easily read this is your comma use. At times when you didn;t properly use the comma, I was confused as to if you were still talking about one idea or linking it to the next.
Overall, I loved it. It was one of the few stories where I actually felt like sitting down and reading it all the way through. What got me was your use of detail. It's a good skill as a writer that you can take only 10 seconds of actual time and turn it into a couple of long paragraphs
    keep up the good work!
