Short Poems

I'm your magnetic attraction,

Opposite- For satisfaction.

You can't deny, I get you high,

So let's get down to the action.

The Pirate

Navigating the deep blue seas,

As I sail upon the waves,

Apathy is my disease,

And also what I crave.

The Oceans still are full, I fear

And thus I'm not alone

To cast away what I hold dear

To forever sail and roam.

See the flawless mirror,

Observe the silver line,

That makes reflections clearer

Of a view you'll find divine.

Wow Fal, 2nd piece of yours I've read.. and adored...

You do so well with rhyming, which made me love the first poem it's short, sweet, playful and naughty (or rather, that's the poem's mood for me when I read )

The second one reminded me of Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp!!!!!) and your absolute love for, err, pirates haha! still, a great job it pales in comparison with the first poem, but meh, I liked it still.

As for your 3rd poem.. for someone as vain as me, I love the tribute to mirrors... you gave so much depth to something we look at each day I like, very much

    Gluck with the contest ^_^

I love the mood in your first poem: a sort of playfulness boardering on sensual. Very nice.

Your second poem is original, but too long to be considered for the contest.

I especially like your last poem. It gives the reader a lot to think about. :-)

Good luck in the contest, and thanks for entering!
