Untitled For Now Chapter 3

"I know you have feelings for me," Julia said, letting go of Bruno's hand. "Don't get me wrong, I do find you attractive. But I think that I've got a great thing with Ken." She stood up and started towards the door, but Bruno jumped up and grabbed ahold of her arm gently and pulled her to him.

Julia's breath got caught in her throat as Bruno tightened his grip on her. "I've wanted to be with you every since we started high school," he said quietly. "You just have no idea how much you mean to me."

"Its just hard for me to believe," Julia said.

"Why? You know you're the most important person in my life," Bruno said. Before Julia could answer, he gave her a slow, tender kiss. That's when Ken came out.

Ken cleared his throat and Julia jumped. "How could you do this to me," Ken asked.

"I...I...." That's all Julia could get out.

"You son of a bitch, I should have known you'd try to take her from me," Ken growled.

"Well, I can't help you're not man enough for her," Bruno said.

It took all the strength Ken had in his body not to attack Bruno. Instead he looked at Julia and asked, "Who would you rather be with?"

Julia didn't answer. How could she when she was still torn? Ken and Bruno are both great guys. "I don't know," she finally said.

Ken growled and said, "I thought I meant something to you. Have I not made you happy since we've been together?"

Julia growled. Everytime another guy showed interest in her and she spent time with them, he got this way. She had finally had it.

"You know what Ken, I'm tired of always having to reassure you of my feelings. If you don't know how I feel, then you don't need to be with me," Julia shouted.

Ken's mouth dropped. "You don't mean that!"

"Yes, I do," Julia said quietly. "I don't need a jealous boyfriend."
