The prized child

There was once a boy who visited a nursing home everyday after school. He did not talk much about himself, but he told how great his family was. He talked about the old summer trips with his family. He talked about one brother scored the winning point in a football game, and another brother the best track star the school ever had in forty years. He told about his wonderful sisters and their accomplishments. He even talked about his relatives, and how good they were. Everything about what he told the residents and staff of the nursing home was at awe about their achievements besides, a loving family. They all felt if he was not have such of family that they would have adopted had not for such a loving family. Suddenly his visits stopped suddenly. It was not until third day, a strange visitor was snooping around the nursing home. One of the staff questioned the stranger. The stranger mentioned about neglected boy whose father batted him when he was drunk. Off the record, they suspected his father killed his mother also at his rages. The stranger mentioned the boy, also, had no friends in school for they taunted him was another they learned when they went to his school. The boy was last chosen to the in foster home, but he was too late for his father beaten him to death a couple days ago. The staff was very heartbroken then asked why they were looking here. The stranger felt that his grandparents might also be endangered with the boy’s father. The stranger took out of picture of the boy. Too much of the dismay of the staff, he learned it was of their prized child who came to visit them everyday.
