Ice, steaming in frost
Sometimes I wonder
The face that is glossed
Will ever melt and defrost
Ice, chilling in gelidity
Cold as if dead
Fighting warmth in hostility
Still holding fragility
Ice, sometimes I wonder
Why is it so cold?
In chills I plunder
Dying to know whats deep and under
Ice, is obscure
But water lives within
Whats makes it endure
Its long melting tour
Ice, many secrets it holds
How it manages to box water
And it only unfolds
When heat comes and molds
Ice, with ears
Stands to swing and see
Icicles from tears
Standing in frost while heat spears
Ice, so cold
So stiff and arctic
Icicles like diamonds and gold
The waters inside in ice do fold

This flows wonderfully, Great Job. There's not a single thing I would change.

Good poem
I like the double meaning. The physical ice and iciness of a persons exterior persona.
Good luck with the contest. -
