A flash of light, someone’s face, a random smell, a few choice words, sudden sights, scents, feelings, sounds and even tastes flooded is head. Pain. ‘Argh!’ he screamed, reaching for a crystal around his neck, it was lying still on the bed, away from him, the chain that held it round his neck was taught. His wrists were strapped down, so he couldn’t move to correct it. Groups of people were shouting conversation in his ears, masses of images flowed past his eyes at a ridiculous pace, his head was filled with random emotions ‘Nnngghh!’ he growled trying to focus through the mass sensory overload.
He felt his bodily control waver into a seizure, and his muscles strained against the restraints, in a mad spasm, suddenly, the chain was pulled, and by chance, the crystal followed suit enough for it to land on his chest. The instant its cold quartz struck his skin, a cooling effect moved swiftly up him, and over him, restoring order about his body. Quickly gaining control of his sanity, he sat and closed his eyes, the insane images and sounds, dissipating from memory. He tried to ignore what was left of his lunacy, and tried again, to sleep.
On the outskirts of the solar system, a small metallic object appeared faster then lights itself. A star ship slows to physical speed, the crystalline converter, powering it, transcending to a calmer state. A computer, automatically started to send out scan pulses and immediately began retrieving information, and storing it. Information in a complex language was displayed on a small screen that was built of laser light.
Single star, 9 orbiting bodies, plus numerous debris, including large debris ring. Several orbiting bodies have satellites; two more have dedicated debris rings.
A simple average system.
A red light suddenly flared, the computer detected something strange, and decided to wake up its passenger, a young space pirate, stirred from her artificial slumber….
‘James?’ A young psychologist, on foreign experience for her Parisian degree, asked in a gentle tone, used for patronizing young children, spoke to Mufasa.
‘James, its time for breakfast.’ Mufasa stirred his mind; his mind was clearing, tranquil even, but for a whisper, a glimpse off randomness in the corner of his closed eye. His wrists were still bound; straining would be futile and serve only to provoke his visitor.
He opened his eyes to the face of a young beautiful French woman. The strange dream already leaving his conscious memory. The thought of food warmed him.
The young psychologist spoke more formally now his was awake. ‘Et is time to eat, James’ she continued, ‘Are you ‘ungry?’
Mufasa replied ‘It depends on what you’re offering’
The young French woman sat on the bed, next to him, smiling.
‘Now are you going to be violent, today?’ she inquired.
Mufasa had a good long think about an answer that was both honest, and reassuring, ‘I don’t know’ would get him fed with a spoon, while restrained, and no free time, he did however, fully understand that lying would be far worse. So he chose what to say, very carefully, unsure of his new doctor, ‘only to protect you’.
After pondering this, the psychologist decided not to risk it, so, defeated, Mufasa, 15, Insane, was spoon fed his breakfast.
**Notes: Mufasa’ adoptive name is James and the French doctor is mid 20’s with heavily cliché accent**
Author notes
Ok, first off, this is a series, so while its a bit strange now, and also short, its already 20 parts long, most of the time getting much longer, and only in the first quarter of the story as a whole, (so I'm looking at about 80+ parts in total) which is aimed to be about three books long. Also, I'm dyslexic, who has been working as hard as possible, but please be forgiving with spelling errors and what not. Thanks a lot, I hope you enjoy this ^_^
(p.s. I'm English, so if my non-American spellings turn up, just pretend you didn't see them, I'm going through and changing it for your benefit anyway, but just in case)
Please tell me what you think

It's good though I found myself a bit confused at some parts. This could just be me though. Overall good job and I can't wait to read more.
