[ Chpt 3 ]

3- A new begining for Sara


One month later Sara was given to an adoption agency. Everyday she was interviewed by different people. None of them
wanted to adopt her. Some of the people were young, otherr were old, some had one kid and others had none. Out of the
families that she was interviewed by Sara most liked a young women who came in with girl who was 15 or 16yrs old.
She very much hoped that the family would want to adopt her, every day Sara waited until one day a few weeks later till
the women came in once again. Sara was very disappointed when the women adopted a 7yr old boy instead of her.

One day a couple with 2 sons came in and wanted to adopt a girl. The couple interviewed Sara and two other girls,
they rather enjoyed Tracy one of the two girls. Yet again Sara was disappointed when the other girl was chosen over her.
All she wanted was to have a family once again, one that would love her and care for her. But she didn't think that it was
ever going to happen again. As Sara sat with the other children she remembered her own family and her ballet lessons.
She remembered Kali and then it came to her that no matter what happens she was going to continue to do ballet and
finish what she had started.

Finally after 3weeks at the adoption centre on a sunny morning Sara was adopted by a young couple Mr and Mrs Taylor.
They already had 2 children a boy of 13yrs and one girl of 17yrs. Sara had never had an older sister but she always wondered
what it would be like. After her first few days she settled in very well; she had her own little bedroom and study. Sara now
now went to Belair Elementary School. She was not as shy as before the past few months had taught Sara a lot. Apart
from school Sara went for violin classes. Sara loved her new family and felt very safe and secure living there. She enjoyed
the company of both her siblings and got along well with the family. Once again Sara was back to bieng a top studnet
in her class.
