The first taste of love.
How I loved that boy he worked on my grandpas farm.
He was wonderful always made me laugh.
I loved him from first sight till last.
We would go to the barn and kiss all night long.
Till it was time for him to go home.
We played like we was just friends.
My grandpa knew better.
He told that boy to not hide it.
To love me and show it.
And he did and I was free my grandpa loved it to.
We did everything together and it was nice I never cryed in my life after that.
Then we got the news he had to go to war.
Then my happiness went down hill.
All I did was cry.
He told me to remember that strawberry kiss.
He would come back to me.
I told him you was my first taste of love.
I waited and waited and nothing was said for.
I felt he was dead or forgot about me.
I thought about him every day and waited.
I am 30 and still waiting and he came back.
He did not forget He was just gone forever.
But he loved me like I loved him.
I have my love back

Very Very Very sweet. I loved it, romantic and everything. As for the ending, it confused me and I didn't really understand this. And if this is true, I admire your dedication.
