• It’s been a while since they brought me here
In wails, grief and eyes bleeding tear
They brought me here wearing black
Laid me down and never came back
Every once in a while
They visit in style
Some for me candles
In holders of bronze handles
• Down here, I am going old
My body is stiff and cold
In my tightly sealed room
I rest in doom down in my tomb
Every night I stand by the door
And try to explore
I make a swing from the slack
Looking outside so dark and black
• One day, a racket emerged
And a group of plowers surged
With forks and levers in their hand
Began plowing my land
They dug a hole
Beside my wall
They shaped it like my bed
Tears once again started to shed
• The same way they brought me here
The same things now I see and hear
I wonder if they came to get me out
But they can’t and I have no doubt
Now more people came to give the plowers a hand
There I found out, they brought in a friend
There women and ladies cried
For the friend they brought had died
• I saw my mom I saw my dad
I saw my sister weeping so bad
I saw my aunt my uncle too
And the same priest made his way through
I sat at my bed
With thoughts running my head
They came and laid down my roommate
Prayed then slammed the vault gate
• I stood up to see
The friend they got for me
I was terrified to find out
Threw the roses that sprout
I knew the name and burst in cries
To find out, it’s my cousin that inside lies

This was a very powerful poem, and well written. I really loved the second paragraph in particular, especially, "I rest in doom down in my tomb."
Such a great line and nice bounce to it.
