“Enchanted Childhood”

• The enchanted childhood days
We used to goof in craze
Back when we were a kid
Down the alleys we used to skid
• We made balls out of socks
We threw small rocks
At the neighbors window pane
And made her ran insane

• We stuffed pencils in our nose
In a world where anything goes
We made animal sounds in class
Answer back in sass
• We ran away from home
Down streets we used to roam
In search for the Atlantis
Tracking down the mantis

• We had bottles on our tables
Filled with grasshoppers along labels
We tied the cats with strings
Took the canary and pasted its wings
• We sneaked into my moms room
Wearing her costumes and perfume
Then went back to school
To enter the girls’ restroom to fool

• We threw tomatoes
Stuffed in exhaust pipes potatoes
We chewed bubble gum
Like a gang of evil scum
• We sneaked into the school hall
Drilled to create tiny holes
Stuffed firecrackers on the walls
We blew them as we sat on the stalls

• We fooled with the old
Called my grandpa old
We stole his patched hat
Continued yelling him fat
• We had days that now we cannot hold
We had warm days but now we are so cold
Back when I was a child
Together we played running wild
Then you entered my life
From a friend you became my wife

• Now our grandchildren call us old
Make fun of us calling us old
They, now scream in my ears
Making fun of my elderly years

Please tell me what you think

IT was pretty good actually. BUt, for some reason it doesn't flow properly, maybe you should cut down some on the phrases in the poem? I dunno. Anyways...this was great, and keep it up
