Joshua knelt in the darkness, the somber silence of the moment echoing in their ears. Bella stood tall, resplendant; both of them trembled copiously as cold chills swept over them.
Joshua clasped Bella's hand in his, closing his eyes as joyous tears streamed down his face. He held them tightly, his trembling intensifying.
"Bella, I love you, I forgive you... I take your sins into me..."
He heard her hollow voice without understanding her words, and wrapped cold arms around her, enclad in silver robes.
"Bella, oh my beautiful one, forgive me..."
And in resplendence, it was silver and cold.

I've changed Joshua(third person) to I(first person) and the *their ears to *my ears!! the last time i checked that WAS allowed!!!
