Her chest rose slightly, and then fell. Contentment was written all across her features, she must be dreaming. A small stream of moonlight drizzled in through the window, streaming across her face. Her flaxen hair spread out across the pillow. A tiny smile played across the lips of a man who was watching her. He sat next to the bed, his emerald eyes held love for her. He slowly reached out and lightly touched her pale hand with his. He closed his eyes and sighed. The room went dark, a cloud covering the moon, but soon, sapphire light came back. The moonlight looked as if to comfort him, give him hope. The girl’s eyes fluttered open, and she looked at the man. Love was obvious on her face, as was on his. They embraced, and it seemed as if the angels in heaven rejoiced. For this was the reflection of love, as God had seen it to be. Love that could never be broken, not by anything in the world, or anything in death.

wow
Up until the point where you charactors embraced I was envisioning a scene from Buffy the Vampire Slayer the mini series. Which I love, the scene I pictured while reading this makes me feel melancholy and bittersweet. You may know which season I am talking about if you are a fan of that show.
