“The old school days”

• The good days of school
We played, goofed and fooled
Yelled; Screamed and ran
From school all our stories began

• We learnt a lot of things
Making puppets hanging from strings
Making paper planes with wings
Using clay to make rings
Jumping over the swings

• We learnt to be bad
Ran in hallways like mad
Each of us were a naughty lad
Dripped chocolate on our clad
Attached stickers on our plaid
Drove the teachers mad

• We played and ate gobs of glue
Fastened our fingers too
Fake coughed as if we had a flue
Putting candy in our shoes
Melted and began to ooze
Bogusly we went to snooze
In class teachers got abused
The whole class got amused

• We learnt to mess with pencils
Our tiny little utensils
We dangled them from our nose
As if they were a hose
Stuffed clay among our toes
Blemished our school clothes
Ate ice-cream until we froze

• We sprinkled water
When days got hotter
Speckled sweet peanut butter
As we roamed to class in a clutter
We ran through the gutter
Then we sat to stutter
During class we slept and sat to mutter
Slammed strong the shutter
Wave our arms as birds flutter

• We learnt to hum and pop the gum
Stray into lines like evil scum
Then stood to play dumb
Acted dead and numb
We threw crumb
Tossed fruits and plum

• We took along some cheese
Learnt to make a fake sneeze
Hissed and whizzed like bees
We burped coughed as if having a disease
Crawled out of class on our knees
Ran down the stairs like flees
Hid away behind the trees
And we were expertise
Having the keys of gaining appease
But still punishment didn’t came at ease
