Chapter two
Leena jumped. Remembering that the fairy just said her name. “Um. Hi,” said Leena confused. The fairy smiled. Leena wanted to scream but she didn’t. “Get out,” Leena said all of a sudden. The fairy looked surprised and confused. “Why?” asked the fairy. “Because, you’re intruding my house!” yelled Leena. “I need to tell you something,” said the fairy. Leena shivered. “If it’s gross then I don’t wanted to know,” said Leena. The fairy pulled out a piece of string, from her shiny blue dress. The string had two blue diamonds on the end. Leena was shocked. She knew what it was. The string she was holding was a myth. Leena opened her mouth. “Do you know what this is?” asked the fairy. “Yes,” paused Leena. “It’s the Malcanoium Crystal,” said Leena. Leena noticed on the fairy’s arm was a tattoo. “What does that mean?” asked Leena pointing at the fairy’s tattoo. “It means water, as you have noticed I am wearing a blue dress,” said the fairy. “What’s your name?” asked Leena. “You sure do ask a lot of questions. Yet that’s what happens when you first meet someone. My name is Krstall, with a k, and two l’s,” said Krstall.
“Anyway, I’m hear to ask you something,” said Krstall. Leena started to wonder what she wanted to ask her. “Shoot,” said Leena. “OK, I wanted to know if you can be a…. guardian,” said Krstall. Leena had her mouth open nice, and wide you can even see her tonsils. “ME?! A GUARDIAN?! Are you crazy!? What-what do you think, that I’m just a girl who should be a guardian?” yelled Leena. Krstall was frightened by the way Leena was acting. “Well, yes,” said Krstall.
Leena sighed, and sat next to Krstall. “What kind of guardian?” asked Leena.
“A, um, well a… a princess guardian,” said Krstall. Leena suddenly jumped off of the bed. “What? A princess guardian? I don’t think so!” said Leena. “I don’t want to be a princess guardian! I just want to be a normal 15 year old girl that goes to school. Like everyone else!” yelled Leena. “Well my Malcanoium Crystal says that you are the next guardian. It’s never wrong. So I believe it,” said Krstall feeling like she has to shout. “I’m sorry but, we need you, if you back down now we will never have someone to watch over our kingdom. We need someone who can fight for our kingdom! You are that person,” said Krstall almost shouting.
Leena sat down on a purple chair by the window sill. “I don’t want to rule a kingdom. I don’t think you have the right person. Unless you have proof that I’m supposed to rule a kingdom then ok, but I doubt that you do,” Leena said standing up. Krstall smiled. “I do have proof,” said Krstall holding the Malcanoium Crystal.
Then there was a flash of light. It was really bright. Then the light went away. Leena opened her eyes and there on her arm, was a tattoo. “Moonstar,” said Krstall. Leena ran to the mirror, and saw there was another tattoo on her face. It almost looked like a tear drop. Leena walked up to Krstall. “What’s next?! Don’t I get a pet? This is ridiculous!” yelled Leena in Krstall’s face. “Well, yes you do have a pet but, I’m not going to give her to you for being so rude,” said Krstall turning away from Leena. “What kind of pet?” asked Leena. “I will show you, if you become a princess guardian,” said Krstall.
“Fine! I’ll just become a princess guardian,” said Leena. Krstall faced Leena. “It’s your choice of your pet, but you have to make it a mythic pet,” said Krstall. Leena felt like she wanted to sink on the floor. “I’m not sure,” said Leena. Leena was going to pick a dragon. Yet she could also make up a pet. “Oh, c’mon! I already know you want pet. It’s a dragon. I’ll get you a nice pink dragon,” said Krstall putting her arms up. Krstall moved her arms in a circle three times, then she spread her arms out, and then there was a pink dragon. “Oh no, I don’t like pink,” said Leena shaking her head. “I’ll go with white,” said Leena. Krstall sighed, and moved her arms in a circle faster, and faster, and then she put out her arms. There now was a white dragon.
“Beautiful!” said Leena running the dragon. “I love it,” Leena said while hugging the dragon. “Now we need to go to the kingdom, and introduce you to everyone. Now let’s go,” said Krstall. “Wait, I still need to pack, and I need to name my dragon,” said Leena looking at her dragon. Krstall sighed. “You can name the dragon, but all the stuff you need will be at the kingdom,” said Krstall smiling at Leena. Leena faced the dragon. ”I’ll name you, Krassy,” said Leena.
“You will have a beautiful dress to fight in, so don’t worry,” said Krstall. “No way! I’m not wearing a dress!” said Leena. “Then what will you wear?” asked Krstall. “I’ll think of it,” said Leena,”but now we need to go.” Leena grabbed Krassy. “I’m ready,” said Leena. Krstall opened a portal, and stepped inside. “C’mon.” Leena followed after her. Leena began to wonder what she would look like if she wore the dress Krstall was talking about.
