HOW CAN I FORGET(sonnet1)



When days are dark

And friends became few.

when tears ran down my cheek.

and pain in my heart blew.

You were but there

And never left me.

When pain ran deep

and night passed with my weep.

When I was lonely

And felt like I`m the only.

I felt like I died

But you never left my side

So How can I forget?

    Thabiso, I really enjoyed this poem. It is well-written and the words, though simple are very emotive. One small point, I would change 'became' to 'become'.

    Wow, this really blew me away. It is so full of love, pain and emotion......it's beautiful. It has such a soft feel to it, such a gentle flow. You have penned a gorgeous sonnet here, and should be proud of it.
