Chapter 11

On a silent night, I glare through darkened windows.
Peering at heavens guardian shining brightly above.
Glowing with anticipation I lean over the ledges view
seeing a shadowed image standing quietly still. I move
slowly away from the windows edge for fear the dark shadow
is watching me. Closing the drapes for the night.
Standing nervously beside the drapes, I peek outside.
Looking to see if the image is still there. Gone for the moment.
Talking to my self in my mind.
I tell myself “It will be alright, Stop spooking yourself Kinsey!”
As the night moves forward into a glistening morning, I step out of bed
yawning as I stretch to wake.
The phone rings (Ring... , Ring... , Ring... )
“Hello” I say, as I answer the phone.
Silence came over the line...”Hello”
again nothing...”Hello is anyone there?”
the phone hung up. Chalking it up to nothing.
I go into the bathroom and turn on the shower, relaxing a bit
before I have to leave.
I shower with much excitement, looking forward to the days events
that are to take place. Drying off, I go into my room, sorting out
what it is I want to wear.
Looking through my closet, talking to myself...
“I really have got to go shopping”
“I have nothing to wear”
Suddenly I see my favorite dress of all time.
This was a dress I had a very sensual moment in a couple
of years ago. Deep purple with tiny straps of silken perfection
waving silky light in tender winds, ankle length with little frills
at the end. I just loved it.
“Yep, this is what I will wear today!”
as I slip it over my head first, it slides down my body with
ease. I look at myself in the mirror, and sigh. “Perfect, all I need is a hat”
Opening my hat boxes to find just the right one, I try them all on.
Settling for a Pastel violet with a dark purple ribbon around it,
formed like those little girls Easter hats that everyone just loves.
I put on my pastel purple clear heals, fasten them up.
Stepping back in front of the mirror “Now, everything is perfect!”
Glowing with elegance, I close up the house, and out the door I go.
Heading to a meeting scheduled for today, with the Head CEO
of Intellectual Designs...2
