Growing up

As my parents eyes fill with tears

I realize these are their worst fears

I'm growing up at a speedy rate

Some people i loved i now hate

All my time I spend with friends

I worry about the latest trends

My life is changing in the blink of an eye

i now have friends who are guys

but no matter how much we drift a part

My family will always take up my heart
